Coronavision online event

St Mary’s Church Luton www.stmarysluton.org

If you’ve been looking for an all singing all dancing musical extravaganza showcasing the finest musical talent Europe has to offer, you’ll probably have to wait until next year. But in lockdown beggars can’t be choosers, so we’ll be bringing you the best that family living-room music has to offer in a one-off Coronavision Contest. Twenty-one finalists, performing in the style of their chosen European country have put forward original songs, covers, and parodies sacrificing dignity for charity.

The final event, at 8pm on Saturday 9th May, will be broadcast live across Facebook, YouTube and our website, www.Coronavisioncontest.com  to raise money for St Mary’s Luton, the NHS, and the WHO for our international audience. A hundred percent of donations goes straight to the charities.  Click here to see our video

Join us for an evening of music, culture and fun (albeit without the huge crowds, special effects or ironic Irish commentary) and help us sing our way into helping those most in need at this time and give a "Douze Points" to the charities that are fighting on the front lines of this Pandemic.

Notes to Editors

The fundraising campaign is aiming to raise £500 and can be accessed here: https://www.gofundme.com/f/coronavision-contest-campaign

All the money raised will go straight to the charities

While each contestant has been assigned a country, they do not officially represent that country in any capacity
